Pasquier sourdough bread is traditionally baked in the Chabassol oven, an old-style natural bread oven made out of cement. It has a crunchy crust and soft crumb, with a subtle sourdough taste. Prepared slowly, and hand crafted with great care, the original Sourdough bread seems to taste extra good when it has been stored in a fire oven. This traditional recipe remains unchanged since 1895, as part of the Pasquier identity. For a wholesome and tasty meal, do not forget the butter. To bring you an exceptional taste, our specialists use a special technique to create the perfect sourdough. While the daily baking process in the early morning allows you to savor the aroma and taste of freshly baked bread at lunchtime. Since 1897, Pasquier has developed its know-how for you, which is symbolized by this unique seal that guarantees authenticity. Pasquier is a family bakery for five generations. They proceed to use original recipes and ingredients only: Water, wheat flour, sourdough leaven and salt. No chemical additives in our products.
