La Vosgienne Pine Sap candies are made in Quebec by an old family recipe. They use only the sap collected from pine trees that have been cut down and pine resin collected at the saw mill. They have a natural, easy sweetness and are a delightful treat for all ages. La Vosgienne is a pine sap candy from the Vosges du Nord region of France, with a fantastic flavor and aroma unique to that area. This candied pine flavor is particularly special to the House of Vosgien, the sole producer; made with natural ingredients without modifications or artificial colors, and gently flavored with essential oils of pine. Aged for at least 4 weeks, the texture is less sticky, but just as sensual as it melts in your mouth. Made by hand in small batches. La Vosgienne is a soft and smooth pine sap candy from Alsace, France. Incredibly delicious and chewy – these candies have been made using a traditional recipe, from a forest reserve where the pine trees yield sap that contains natural sugar. La Vosgienne, hand made in France, are soft and chewy pastilles made from 100% pine sap. These delightful treats are excellent as a snack on their own or as an ingredient in any recipe. A delicious taste of the wild.

Sore throat/pharyngitis remedy

First recommended by pharmacist when in the Alpes skiing with bad URTI several years ago; it did seem to help ease the symptoms. Almost used up so bought a resupply and extras tins as gift for family members. It seems the empty early tins are now collectible; who knew !
