Jardin Bio Very Fine Peas are grown with no pesticides and practically no insecticides. This, in combination with the cold-water pressure sorting process and extremely careful grading helps to create a perfect pea that is all green, fresh, with smooth peas. These Green-label products however may have naturally occurring very small deformed or various colored peas. To avoid confusion, these are placed in a separate jar. Peas harvested in the Jardin Bio (organic garden) of La Maison du P'tit Gris are without bleaching. The peas are cooked in small pots and put in 5L glass jars. This is a product from the Jardin bio line and this is a very different product made from peas called "Peas among the flowers". Here is a fresh jar of peas – something we all love to have as part of our meals. This is NOT the run-of-the-mill peas-in-a-jar product. This is not one of those products which has been sitting on supermarket shelves for who knows how long, or even that one which comes straight from the freezer!
