Our selected asparagus from Landes have been grown in a sunny location, allowing the white vegetable to maintain its bright green colours and fresh taste. These spears are long, thin and firm. Perfect for an elegant salad or a tasty appetizer served with Hollandaise sauce. This white asparagus from Landes 500g is from the single farm 'Pesquera'. It is located near to the village of Orthez, in the heart of the Landes, south-west of France. It is a delicate vegetable that must be peeled,  and then cook it al dente. A touch of cream with Parmesan cheese will finish off your dish perfectly. Its color ranges from light yellow to ivory, its texture can be soft or firm according to its maturity, and its flavor is sweet and light. During the Landes' White asparagus season (March 15th - June 15th), a capital of white asparagus from the Landes is installed in various cities throughout France. We've sent nine selected Landes producers to Paris for this event, offering their delicacies and their know-how about the white asparagus.
