Arnaud's Country Terrine is made with the same authentic recipe and traditional methods that were practiced in Arnaud's kitchen in Provence nearly 100 years ago. Traditional, French-style terrines are firm, flavorful mixtures made from chopped or pureed meats or seafood combined with seasonings that are packed into a rectangular terrine mold. The mixture is cooked slowly and then allowed to rest overnight before being sliced and served. Once opened, the terrine should be refrigerated for up to one week or frozen for up to 3 months. Made by the same French family for five generations, Arnaud's specialty is potted meats. Refined recipes handed down through the centuries have made Arnaud one of Europe's finest pate brands. Enjoy this creamy and robust country terrine on a slice of toast, with crackers, or even just with a spoon. It's a real terrine! Made from pork from pigs raised in the tradition of the South West, Arnaud's recipe mixes ham, pork belly, lard and various liqueurs for an absolutely unique taste. Remove it from the refrigerator 1 hour before serving to allow it to come to room temperature. Unwrap and cover with a dish or a cutting board.
