This traditional and emblematic product of French Provence is made with 100% whole tuna in brine (only natural ingredients). It takes 50 kg of tuna to make one kilo of finished Petit Navire. Enjoyed chilled as an appetizer, with vegetables or on pasta, this gourmet product will delight tuna lovers. From the charming old quarter of Marseille, Master Gastronome Robert Navire carries on a family tradition that goes back over 200 years. With his sons, he has set up an authentic fish shop and delicatessen where he sells only the best products, either freshly landed or fished from the Mediterranean by trusted fishermen. The Petit Navire tuna is cut from fresh whole yellowfin tuna allowed to mature for at least 3 months. These long maturation times mean that it is really savory and full of taste. Petit Navire tuna is brined with spicy peppers in France by small local artisans. The fresh water tuna is delicately salted and spiced with a secret recipe of natural ingredients to bring out the most memorable taste of the sea coast.
