These Terms & Conditions govern your use of monpanierlatin.co.uk and purchases made from Mon Panier Latin.

By placing an order, you agree to these Terms & Conditions. Nothing in these Terms affects your statutory consumer rights.
1. About our store
Mon Panier Latin is an online retailer specialising in French food and grocery products for customers in the United Kingdom.
You must be at least 18 years old and legally capable of entering into a contract to place an order.
2. Products and product information
We take reasonable care to present products and information accurately.
Product packaging, design, recipes, ingredients and other manufacturer information can change from time to time.
Images are intended to represent the relevant product but packaging received may differ where the manufacturer has changed its presentation.
Where legally required food information is provided online, we aim to keep that information accurate and up to date. However, because manufacturers may change formulations or labels, you should always read the physical product label before consumption.
If you have an allergy, intolerance or other dietary requirement, please review the product information carefully and contact us before ordering if you need further information.
3. Prices
Prices are displayed in pounds sterling.
Prices include applicable VAT where legally required.
Delivery charges and any other applicable charges are displayed separately before you complete your purchase.
We may change product prices at any time, but changes will not affect an order already accepted by us.
If we discover an obvious pricing error before accepting your order, we may contact you and give you the opportunity to continue at the correct price or cancel the affected item or order.
4. Placing an order
When you submit an order, you are making an offer to purchase the products in your basket.
You will receive an order acknowledgement after placing your order. An automated acknowledgement confirms that we have received your order but does not necessarily mean that every item has been accepted for fulfilment.
A contract for the products is formed when we accept the relevant order for fulfilment, normally when we confirm dispatch.
We reserve the right to refuse or cancel an order before acceptance where there is a legitimate reason to do so, including product unavailability, payment failure, suspected fraud, an obvious pricing error or a delivery restriction.
If we cancel an item for which payment has already been taken, we will refund the relevant amount.
5. Product availability and substitutions
All products are subject to availability.
We do not make silent substitutions.
If an ordered product becomes unavailable, we will not simply replace it with a different product without your agreement.
Where the unavailable product cannot be supplied, we will notify you where appropriate and refund the amount paid for that item.
6. Payment
Available payment methods are shown at checkout.
Payment may be authorised or collected when your order is placed.
You confirm that you are authorised to use the payment method submitted with your order.
Payment processing is carried out by authorised payment providers using appropriate security measures.
7. Delivery
Available delivery services, estimated timings, charges and applicable restrictions are described in our Shipping Policy and displayed at checkout where relevant.
Delivery dates and carrier estimates are estimates unless expressly stated to be guaranteed.
You are responsible for providing an accurate and complete delivery address.
Please check your address carefully before completing your order.
Risk in the goods passes to you when the goods are delivered to you or to another person or location you have expressly nominated, subject to applicable law.
8. Delays
Occasionally, events outside our reasonable control may delay dispatch or delivery.
If a material delay occurs, we will take reasonable steps to keep you informed where practicable.
Your statutory rights in relation to delayed delivery are not affected.
9. Cancellation, returns and refunds
Your cancellation, return and refund rights are explained in our Returns & Refunds Policy.
Certain goods, including some perishable products and certain sealed goods once opened, may be excluded from the statutory change-of-mind cancellation right.
Those exclusions do not remove your statutory rights where goods are faulty, damaged, incorrectly supplied or not as described.
10. Promotions and discount codes
Promotions and discount codes may be subject to additional conditions.
Unless otherwise stated:
- promotions cannot be exchanged for cash;
- a promotion may be withdrawn before an order is placed;
- only eligible products and customers qualify;
- minimum-spend requirements may apply; and
- promotions may not be combined where expressly stated.
Nothing in a promotion affects an order already validly accepted under the stated promotional conditions.
11. Accounts
Where customer accounts are available, you are responsible for keeping your login credentials confidential.
Please contact us if you believe your account has been accessed without permission.
You are responsible for ensuring that information supplied through your account is accurate and current.
12. Acceptable use of the Site
You must not misuse the Site or attempt to interfere with its security or operation.
You must not use the Site:
- for unlawful or fraudulent purposes;
- to introduce malicious software;
- to attempt unauthorised access to systems or data;
- to infringe intellectual property rights; or
- in a way that materially disrupts the Site or other users.

Unless otherwise stated, the Site and its original content, branding, layout and materials are owned by or licensed to us.
You may use the Site for your personal, non-commercial shopping purposes.
You may not reproduce, commercially exploit or redistribute our proprietary content without permission except where permitted by law.
Third-party product names, packaging, trademarks and images remain the property of their respective owners.
14. Our responsibility to you
We are responsible for losses that are a foreseeable result of our breach of these Terms or our failure to use reasonable care and skill.
We are not responsible for losses that were not reasonably foreseeable when the contract was formed.
We do not exclude or limit liability where it would be unlawful to do so, including liability for:
- death or personal injury caused by negligence;
- fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation; or
- rights and remedies that cannot legally be excluded under consumer law.
If you use products for commercial or business purposes, additional limitations may apply, but nothing in these Terms removes rights that cannot legally be excluded.
15. Third-party services and links
The Site may contain links to third-party websites or use services supplied by third parties.
We are not responsible for third-party websites that we do not control.
Your use of third-party services may also be subject to the relevant provider’s terms.

17. Changes to these Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time.
Changes will apply to future use of the Site and future orders after the updated Terms are published.
Changes will not retrospectively alter the terms applicable to an order already formed unless required by law or agreed with you.
18. Governing law
These Terms and consumer contracts with us are governed by the laws of England and Wales.
If you are a consumer resident elsewhere in the United Kingdom, you retain any mandatory protections available to you under the laws applicable to you and any rights you have to bring proceedings in an appropriate court in your home jurisdiction.
