The ingredients
- 2 chicken breasts
- 1 tbsp salted butter
- 1 onion
- 115gr mushrooms
- 1 clove of garlic
- 1/2 tbsp flour
- 125ml chicken stock
- 125ml double cream
- salt
- pepper
The stages of preparation
- In a large skillet, brown the chicken breasts over medium-high heat until lightly browned on all sides. Remove the chicken from the pan and set aside.
- Add the butter to the pan, add the onions and sauté for 2-3 minutes, until golden. Add the mushrooms and garlic. Sauté for 1-2 minutes, until the mushrooms are golden.
- Remove the pan from the heat and add the flour, mixing well.
- Return the pan to the heat and put the chicken back into the pan. Add the broth and pepper. Cover and simmer for 20 minutes, over medium-low heat, until the chicken is cooked.
- Mix in the cream and salt. Simmer for 10 minutes on medium-low heat to thicken the sauce. Serve immediately.
