Food & Allergen Information
Last updated: 8 September 2026
Food safety matters. This page explains how food information is presented online and what to do if you have an allergy, intolerance or other dietary requirement.
Information before purchase
For prepacked food, we aim to make the mandatory food information required for distance selling available before you complete your purchase, except for information that the law permits to be provided at a later stage. Depending on the product, this may include the legal name, ingredients, highlighted allergens, net quantity, nutrition, storage or preparation instructions, country of origin where required, and relevant manufacturer or food-business-operator information.
Allergens
Allergen information is based on the latest reliable manufacturer or supplier information available to us. If you have an allergy or intolerance, read the product information carefully before ordering and always check the physical label on the delivered product before consuming it.
Do not assume that a product is free from an allergen, suitable for a particular diet, or protected from cross-contact unless this is expressly supported by verified product information.
Packaging and recipe changes
Manufacturers can change recipes, ingredients, allergen statements, nutrition, packaging or production sites without advance notice. A product image may therefore show an earlier pack design.
Where online information conflicts with the current physical packaging, the physical label supplied with the product should be treated as the current manufacturer information. If the difference affects an allergy, intolerance, dietary requirement or safety concern, do not consume the product until the issue has been resolved.
When your order arrives
Keep the packaging until you have checked the relevant food information. If a label is damaged, unreadable or materially different from the information shown when you ordered, email bonjour@monpanierlatin.co.uk with your order number and clear photographs of the product and label.
Storage, preparation and dates
Follow the storage, preparation and use instructions on the product label. Do not consume food after a use-by date. Best-before dates relate primarily to quality rather than safety, but the product should still be stored and handled as instructed.
Questions before ordering
If you need help locating product information before purchase, email bonjour@monpanierlatin.co.uk. We reply within one business day. We cannot provide medical advice or guarantee suitability where the manufacturer or supplier has not provided verified information.
